La Fontana:

Independant house, with hot water, heating and thermal fireplace which provides the heating for all the rooms, endued with multi-functional room with wood, oven and car box. On the low ground there is a small kitchen, a living room and the multifunctional room; on the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms (one of which has a small terrace), a single bed room and 2 bathrooms. It's situated at the centre of a small mountain village, around 800 m above sea level, in the "Gran Sasso Monti della Laga" National Park near the Gran Sasso mountain and ski-lifts in Prati di Tivo.
The village lies near the highest mountain of central Italy and people love it for the wonderful and striking places ("Calderone" on Gran Sasso Mountain is the southernmost glacier in Europe). It also is the ideal place for people who want practice sports (skiing, rock climbing, horse riding, walking up mountains dew) and for those who love to relax surrounded by the green forest where it is possible to gather mushrooms and soft fruits in conformity to local laws and regulations. Even if the house is in the mountains, it is also possible to spend time at the beach, which is only about 50 km (1 hour by car) away.
Pets are accepted if they are not dangerous and don't damage the furniture.
