La villa dove ha sede il B & B, costruita all'inizio del `900, é da sempre dimora della famiglia Ferrero che ha dato il nome ad uno dei cantoni della frazione Portiglie.
Fino agli anni '70 l'area circostante alla villa era adibita alla coltivazione di frutteti e vigneti per la produzione di vino.
La famiglia con impegno ha continuato a preservare le bellezze dell'area circostante, l'originalità degli interni, ed ha messo a disposizione una parte della casa per offrire un piacevole soggiorno immersi nella quiete della natura circostante e dell'ambiente classico e famigliare per un soggiorno rilassante alla scoperta dei profumi di un tempo.

La Villa si trova sulla sommità di una collina immersa nel verde del parco circondata da boschi di castagni e roveri dove vivono caprioli, lepri e cinghiali.

The Villa housing our B&B was built in the early XX century and has always been the dwelling of Ferrero family, who gave name to one of the canton of hamlet Portiglie. Until the 70’s orchards and vineyards were grown in the Villa’s surroundings and wine was produced.
Ferrero family has devotedly preserved the beauty of the surroundings as well as the distinctiveness of the interior and has consecrate a portion of the building to a B&B where you can enjoy a pleasant stay. Surrounded by the peace and quiet of nature and by a traditional and cosy environment you will have a relaxing holiday, while getting in touch with old-time scents.

The Villa is set on the top of a hill dipped in the green of the park and surrounded by chestnut and oak woods, home to roe-deers, hares and wild boards.

Die Villa, Sitz des B&B’s wurde anfangs 900 erbaut und war seit jeher das Heim der Familie Ferrero, nach deren Name eines der Kantone von Portiglie benannt wurde. Bis in den 70iger Jahren wurde die Umgebung der Villa zur Kultivierung von Obstgärten und Weinbergen zur Weinproduktion verwendet. Die Familie hat mit allen Anstrengungen die Schönheit der Umgebung und die Originalität der Innenausstattung gepflegt und einen Teil des Hauses zur Verfügung gestellt, um einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Ruhe der umgebenden Natur und in einer vertrauten klassischen und familiären Atmosphäre auf der Spur des Charmes der Vergangenheit anzubieten. Nahe den Hauptverkehrsadern und den wichtigsten und schönsten Plätzen des nordwestlichen Italiens, befindet sich die Villa "Il Torchio" in einer der wichtigsten Weinanbauzonen des Piemonte, wo in aller Welt bekannte Weine, wie der Bramaterra und der Gattinara produziert werden und mitten im wichtigsten Textilgebiet der Welt.

La villa où siège le B & B "Villa il Torchio" a frazione Portiglie,35 - Roasio - Vercelli, fut construite au début du '900, elle a toujours été la demeure de la famille Ferrero qui a donné son nom à un des canton du hameau Portiglie. Jusqu'en 1970, l'aire environnante de la villa était affectée à la culture de vergers et de vignobles pour la production de vin.
