Villa Farinella è una residenza d'epoca del XVI° secolo, poi ampliata e ristrutturata nel XVIII° secolo, dall'architetto Prada che era sovrintendente dello Stato Pontificio nell'Alto Lazio. A Viterbo ha edificato altre 3 ville nello stesso stile ed un singolare palazzo situato proprio in Via Prada, nel centro storico, nei pressi della Piazza San Faustino.
Nel 1999 è nato il B&B Villa Farinella per salvare dall'abbandono questa bella e antica villa di famiglia che era rimasta disabitata da oltre 7 anni. La struttura invecchiava di più ogni anno e così fu deciso di aprirla ad ospiti che preferiscono assaporare i sapori di una casa d'epoca con saloni affrescati, attrezzata per ricevere al massimo 8 persone. Un'ospitalità diversa da quella di un classico albergo all'insegna del freddo rigore: da noi c'è maggiore familiarità, un ambiente intimo, discreto e rilassato che fa sentire gli ospiti a casa loro.
Infatti, lo spirito che ci ha animato è un po' quello dei B&B di campagna irlandesi, scozzesi ed inglesi, quello delle Maison d'Hotes francesi, dove le persone scelgono di assaporare un'atmosfera diversa e ricca di charme.
Da noi non vi sveglierete la mattina con i rumori "molesti" del traffico, delle auto o della città, ma con ogni probabilità aprirete gli occhi sentendo il canto degli uccellini che svolazzano sugli ippocastani del giardino.
Insomma una sosta a Viterbo - che sia per lavoro o per vacanza - diversa, all'insegna di un ambiente campestre, particolare, ricco di charme e soprattutto estremamente tranquillo.
Proprio il giardino e la sua antica architettura con ippocastani molto grandi, è un altro degli aspetti caratterizzanti di Villa Farinella: è naturalmente a vostra disposizione, vi potete passeggiare oppure potete restare seduti sulle panchine di peperino del piazzale a riposare, a leggere o a bere una birra.

The B&B Farinella, established since 1999, found its aim in bringing new life and preserve to abandon a wonderful country house whose structure kept wearing down rapidly. We made the decision to restore and then open it to guests, up to six, who prefers to stay in a proper and fascinating old country house; our hospitality is way far different from the classical hotel one: we bring more familiarity as well as intimacy in our service. Inspired from and as for the classic Irish B&B, you can enjoy a different and more characteristic atmosphere: you’ll never wake up at the noises of traffic, more likely you could be awaked at birdies singing on the horse-chestnuts by the garden. Finally, a chance for a different stay in the middle age city of Viterbo in a peculiar, charming and, last but not least, quiet environment. Countryside and architecture, not to mention the wide garden laying by the country house: host to several old horse-chestnut among other trees, you can have there a promenade, rest on the benches, have a beer as well as read a book.

jardín, la Villa ha sabido defenderse contra esta "envasión" y ofrece un

Die Bed & Breakfast Villa “Villa Farinella” wurde 1999 eröffnet, nachdem die Villa über 7 Jahre unbewohnt war. Um das antike Flair dieser wundervollen Villa zu erhalten, wurde sie renoviert und steht nun als Bed & Breakfast für maximal 8 Personen zur Verfügung. Die Villa bietet im Vergleich zu klassischen Hotelstrukturen ein familiäres Ambiente, das ohne weiteres mit den klassischen B&B in Irland, Schottland und England oder die Maison d´Hotes in Frankreich vergleichbar ist. Ein idealer Platz also für all´ diejenigen Gäste, die das „Besondere“ suchen. Vergessen Sie den Lärm in der Stadt und die Autoabgase und genießen Sie das Vogelschwitzscher aus den hohen Kastanienbäumen oder das Maunzen der Katzen. Das ländliche ruhige Ambiente mit viel Charme machen aus Ihrem Aufenthalt in Viterbo aus beruflichen oder privaten Gründen ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Der Park mit seinen antiken architektonischen Strukturen, wie zum Beispiel den gewaltigen antiken Kastanienbäumen, lädt zum Spazierengehen oder Ausruhen auf wundervollen Sitzbänken aus Peperinstein ein.

Le B&B Farinella est une ancienne demeure du XVIe siècle restructurée au XVIIIe par Prada qui etait architecte de l'Etat Pontifical, responsable de l'Alto Lazio. Il a bati 3 autres villas à Viterbo, dans le même style que celle du B&B, et un Palais situé Via Prada, dans le centre historique proche de la Place San Faustino.
Jusqu'au début des années 60 la Villa Farinella se trouvait "à la campagne", maison de Maître entourée de quatre fermes.
Aujourd'hui la ville a envahi la campagne. Heureusement, grace à ses 5 hectares de champs cultivés et de jardin, la Villa a su se proteger de cette "invasion" et demeure un havre de paîx au sein d'un quartier residentiel tout en restant proche du centre ville situé à 1,5 km et que l'on peut rejoindre à pieds en moins de 20 minutes.
