The country house is close to one of the most beautiful coasts on the Mediterranean Sea and to the main historical, artistic and natural wonders in south-eastern Sicily. It’s half an hour’s drive to the beaches and 40 minutes to the Ognina Marina, a small natural inlet used by local fishermen to dock their boats. For the guests two boats with skipper are available at the Ognina marina (a Diving Centre is located in the Marina).
It’s also 20 kilometres away from Cavagrande Nature Reserve and half an hour’s drive to Syracuse, Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Pantalica.

THE FEATURES AND QUALITY OF OUR COUNTRY HOUSE
The climate, dry and in the summer, at sunset, always fresh (air conditioning not needed in the rooms); the excellent service with a staff very attentive to satisfy the personal requirements of every guest; the 8 non-smoking exclusive rooms where great care is given to details. Each room has a separate entrance, patios and is tastefully decorated with the owners’ personal antiques including furniture, terracotta pottery and tools. The floors are made of Sicilian terracotta tiles and the roofs are framed with traditional wooden beams. The patios are fully furnished so that guests may relax outside in privacy.
