La lanterna delle fate (“The fairies’ lantern”) Why this name? You will only find it out, if you choose to stay in this B&B, which has been completely restructured, with ceilings of wood, and with a furniture which reflects our childlike disposition! The rooms (with bathroom and TV) are dedicated to three different fairies, and they are furnished with three different colours. The recently restructured historical centre of the village is the perfect framework for our B&B, and it creates an atmosphere of past epochs.
The small village Borghetto Vara offers quietude for those who want to escape from the chaos of the town, but also entertainment for the more active guests: tennis courts, football grounds, cycle track, playground for the children, sport fishing in the river Vara and kayak, trails marked out by the CAI towards the CINQUE TERRE and the mountains of the surroundings which can be discovered by foot or by mountain bike, riding stable with guided excursions to the villages in the surroundings, and the beaches of our river which during summer are an alternative to the sea. The location (1 km from the tollgate of Borghetto-Brugnato) allows one to arrive immediately at the sea of the CINQUE TERRE, of PORTOVENERE; LERICI and LEVANTO.
Moreover, you can also organize excursions to important cities like GENOA in order to visit the biggest European aquarium, FLORENCE; PISA SIENA AND PARMA famous art cities, PORTOFINO and the whole coast of the West. In the evening we are waiting for you in the restaurant/pizzeria which is managed by our family (l’angolo di kemol), and where you can taste the specialities of our territory. Thanks to this restaurant we are able to offer a half-board service for our guests. This is not enough? We offer everything which is necessary to spend pleasant holidays … we are waiting for you!
