The recently restructured “Il Nido” (the nest) rises on three levels on the quiet hills of Rapallo, just a few minutes away from the wonderful Gulf of Tigullio.
The bonds that unite this structure to the owner Stefania Campodonico, go back to a long time ago: since her childhood Stefania has in fact lived in these walls with her parents, in a small flat at the first floor.
But that’s not all, as the destiny can be sometimes mocking.
Curious thing, just a few steps from the house door, at the mezzanine floor, there was the primary school, Stefania attended!
Her love for arts, antiques and furnishings makes “Il Nido” one of the most exclusive places of the Riviera di Levante, and maybe of the entire Liguria.
The three rooms, divided between the first and the mezzanine floor, have each a private bathroom with shower and are all theme-rooms:
The clients can in fact choose to pass exotic nights in the room “Cina” (China), or romantic passions in the beautiful and refined “Venice”, or sink in strong and perfumed emotions in the room “India”.
Each room has a precise geographic and time setting that through stylish, elegant and refined furnishings can wrap the guests in a warm and refined atmosphere giving strong emotions and peace.
But at “Il Nido” you can experience this peace not only in the rooms.
A wonderful terrace, facing the Gulf of Tigullio and framed by the strong Mediterranean vegetation of the Liguria hills, gives strong emotions since the first morning lights.
Breakfast is served on hand-made wrought iron tables, under the sun of Rapallo, cooled by the Liguria breeze, admiring a postcard landscape; this is the better way to start the day in real relaxation!

“Il Nido” (das Nest), vor kurzem wiederhergestellt, erhebt sich in drei Niveaus auf dem ruhigen Hügel von Rapallo, wenige Minuten von dem wunderschönen Golf von Tigullio entfernt.
Das Band, das diese Struktur mit der Inhaberin Stefania Campodonico verknüpft, reicht eine lange Zeit zurück: Seit ihrer Kindheit hat Stefania in diesen Mauern mit ihren Eltern, in einer Wohnung am ersten Stock gelebt.
Aber das ist nicht alles, da das Schicksal spöttisch sein kann.
Kurios, einige Schritte vom Hauseingang fand Stefania die Grundschule, die sie besuchte und deren Sitz nämlich am Zwischenstock war.
Ihre Liebe für Kunst, Antiquität und Innenausstattung hat dazu beigetragen, “Il Nido” einen der exklusivsten Orte der Riviera di Levante, und wahrscheinlich ganzes Ligurien zu machen.
Jedes der drei Zimmer, die zwischen dem ersten und dem Zwischenstock verteilt sind, hat ein privates Badeszimmer mit Dusche und ist nach einem bestimmten Thema ausgestattet:
Die Kunden können nämlich entscheiden, ob sie exotische Nächte im Zimmer „Cina“ (China), oder romantische Leidenschaften im wunderschönen und raffinierten „Venice“ (Venedig) verbringen möchten oder sich in starke und dufte Gefühle in dem Zimmer „India“ fallen lassen.
Jedes Zimmer hat eine präzise geographische und zeitliche Anordnung, die dank den stilvollen und eleganten Einrichtungen seine Gäste in einer warmen und raffinierten Atmosphäre aufwickeln kann und ihnen starke Gefühle und Ruhe schenken kann!
Sie können aber die Ruhe nicht nur in den Zimmern von “Il Nido” finden.
Eine wunderbare Terrasse, die aufs Golf von Tigullio blickt und von der Mittelmeervegetation der Hügel Liguriens eingerahmt ist, schenkt Gefühle schon seit den ersten Tageslichten.
Der Frühstück wird auf handgemachten Schmiedeeisentischen unter der Sonne von Rapallo serviert, von dem süßen Wind Liguriens abgekühlt, wobei man eine Postkarte-Landschaft bewundert, das ist die beste Weise, den Tag in voller und echter Entspannung zu beginnen!
Getaucht in dem wunderschönen Hügel,
Mit atemberaubendem Blick auf die Bucht,
liegt „il Nido”.

« Il Nido », ‘le nid’, est un lieu d’accueil restauré, tout neuf, trois étages qui émergent sur une colline tranquille de Rapallo, à deux pas du célèbre Golfo del Tigullio, Portofino.
Le lien qui unit cette maison et sa propriétaire, la gérante Stefania Campodonico, est une longue histoire : en effet, Stefania a vécu dans ces murs dès sa plus tendre enfance, avec ses parents, dans un appartement situé au premier.
Mais ce n’est pas tout, car le destin a plus d’un tour dans sa poche.
Etrangement, à quelques pas de la porte de sa maison, se trouve l’école primaire où est allée Stefania… à l’étage en-dessous !
Son amour pour l’art, les antiquités et l’ameublement, on fait de « Il Nido », un lieu douillet, exclusif dans la Riviera di Levante, et sans doute dans toute la Ligurie.
Les trois chambres, entre le premier et le rez-de-chaussée, ont toutes une salle de bain privée, avec douche et toilettes. Elles ont chacune un thème :
Les clients peuvent choisir de passer une nuit exotique dans ‘Cina’ (Chine), ou une soirée romantique dans l’élégante et raffinée ‘Venice’, ou encore se laisser attendrir par les émotions intenses et parfumées de l’India’.
Chaque chambre a une disposition géographique et temporelle bien précise qui, grâce au style, à l’élégance et l’harmonie, permet d’entraîner l’hôte au cœur d’une atmosphère chaude et raffinée, et de lui offrir émotions et tranquillité !
Mais à « Il Nido », la quiétude ne se vit pas uniquement dans les chambres.
Une terrasse splendide, avec vue sur le golfe du Tigullio et sur une végétation méditerranéenne dense des collines avoisinantes, permet de goûter au bonheur dès les premières lueurs du jour.
Le petit-déjeuner est servi sur des tables en fer forgé fait-mains : être sous le soleil de Rapallo, rafraîchi par une brise légère de la mer, en admirant un panorama de carte postale… n’est-ce pas le meilleur moyen pour démarrer une authentique journée de détente ?!
C’est là, plongé dans la magnifique colline
avec vue imprenable sur le Golf du Tigullio,
