Dal 26 Agosto si inaugurerà la settimana medioevale lancianese con l'apertura dei quartieri che rimarranno in festa con manifestazioni di vario genere: concerti, teatro medioevale e teatro di strada, giullari, cantori, giocolieri. Nei giorni del 29 e 30 Agosto si terrà la seconda edizione della fiera medioevale: una mostra mercato a tema, con rievocazione di antichi mestieri, così come avveniva ai tempi de "il Mastrogiurato". Il 31 Agosto inizieranno i feteggiamenti in onore di S. Egidio con la fiera del giocattolo. Nelle serata del 31 Agosto e del 1 Settembre potrete partecipare (su prenotazione) alla "Panarda": cena in ambientazione medioevale con degustazione di prodotti tipici e sapori del passato. I festeggiamenti medioevali termineranno domenica 2 settembre con il corteo storico del Mastrogiurato con la partecipazioni di delegazioni italiane e straniere. On the 29th and 30th of August the second edition of the medioevale fair will take place: an extension market, with rievocation of anchient trades, therefore as the Mastrogiurato happened to the times. On the 31st of August the fests in honor of S. Egidio will begin with the fair of the gemes. Il 31° Campionato Europeo Femminile di Pallacanestro FIBA (noto anche come FIBA EuroBasket Women 2007) si terrà in Italia, dal 24 settembre al 7 ottobre 2007. Chieti sarà la sede principale, e Ortona, Lanciano e Vasto sedi delle partite preliminari. L'Italia ha già ospitato questa manifestafione in passato ben sette volte (1938, 1968, 1974, 1981, 1985, 1993), inclusa la prima edizione dei campionati nel 1938. I Campionati Europei Femminili di Pallacanestro sono una manifestazione biennale tra le squadre nazionali organizzato dalla FIBA Europe. La tenuta è incastonata nel verde paesaggio collinare abruzzese: da un lato fronteggia lo sguardo protettivo della montagna Majella, dall'altro si perde tra gli uliveti. E'a pochi passi dal mare Adriatico (Ortona-Costa dei trabocchi-San Vito chietino, Fossacesia),e dal Parco nazionale della Majella. Il casolare è situato vicino località di interesse storico-artistico come Chieti, Guardiagrele, Crecchio,Lanciano, Ortona e la costa dei trabocchi, e Francavilla al mare.
Dista dal Parco Nazionale della Majella solo 10 km, dal mare 20 km,da Roma 240 km, da Pescara 40 km, dall'areoporto di Pescara 40 km, da Sulmona 100 km, da Chieti 32 km, da Bari 295 km,da Ancona 203 km, da Bologna 408 km, da Napoli 211 km.
La struttura è dotata di 3 camere: una singola, una doppia e una matrimoniale, tutte con bagno indipendente con doccia/vasca. Per un letto aggiunto sarà effettuata uno sconto del 25% del prezzo a persona.
Nel prezzo indicato è compresa una ricca prima colazione, con possibilità di scelta di menù personalizzati.

La ristrutturazione dell’interno, risalente al 2006, ha mantenuto intatta la struttura e i materiali originari: i soffitti a voltine in ferro, le travi di legno a vista, i pavimenti in mattoni cotti a mano, le scale in pietra bianca della Majella; persino parte degli arredi è stata restaurata, con lo scopo di ‘far rivivere’ l’antico casolare, di farlo tornare alle glorie del passato, quando l’intera contrada era abitata e animata da famiglie numerose e risuonava dei giochi rumorosi dei bambini.
Quello che il posto offre oggi è la tranquillità e la pace della natura, senza dover rinunciare ai comfort moderni: le camere sono tutte ampie e dotate di servizi, ma offrono una meravigliosa vista sulla Majella e sulla campagna circostante. La camera doppia ha un ampia terrazza rivolta verso la montagna, con fontanella e solarium, mentre la camera matrimoniale guarda anche sul giardino circostante ed è fornita di una calda stufa in ghisa per gli inverni più freddi.
La ricca colazione viene servita all’ombra del gelso secolare, dalla folta chioma, oppure, in inverno, al tepore dell’antico caminetto.

E’ possibile, nel solarium, fare un bagno di sole al profumo dell’erba appena tagliata; dondolarsi sull’amaca all’ombra degli ulivi; rotolarsi sui cuscini sull’erba; giocare con i propri bambini nell’area giochi; chiacchierare nell’angolo romantico, circondato da rose; stare al fresco sotto la capanna di vite; riflettere ai piedi dell’antico pozzo; prendersi cura dell’orto, sorvegliato dalla simpatica Genevieve; ‘rubare’ un fico, una pera o una susina agli alberi carichi di frutta e gustarne il sapore; passeggiare per la campagna alla scoperta dei suoi misteri e delle sue sorprese.
Per chi lo desidera, sarà possibile fare piccole escursioni botaniche nella zona, raccogliere frutta selvatica e erbe aromatiche.

The old peasant house is near historical artistic places such as Chieti, Guardiagrele, Crecchio, Lanciano, Ortona, and the near “costa dei trabocchi” (fishing pile coast) and Francavilla al mare.
It’s 10 km fromMount Majella National Park, 20 km from the sea, 240 km from Rome, 40 km from Pescara, 40 km from Pescara airport, 100 km from Sulmona, 32 km from Chieti, 295 km from Bari, 203 km from Ancona, 408 km from Bologna, and 211 km from Naples.
The house is provided with three rooms: a single bedded room, a twin bedded room and a double bedded-room, each with bathroom furnished with shower/tub.
An added bed will grant a 25% discount per person. The price includes a rich breakfast, with a large choice of personalized menus.
Children under six will be granted a 50% discount.
The peasant house, completely restructurated since 2006, has preserved the original structure and materials: the iron small vaults, the thimbers, the tiled floors, the white stone stairs from Mount Majella; even, some pieces of forniture have been restored just to bring the old place to life again, when in the past the while district was inhabited by lots of families and resourced with the children’s noisy games.
What is particolarry enjoyble today, is the quietness and the peace of nature, without giving up modern comforts: all th e rooms are large and endowed with a bathroom and offer a wonderful sight of Mount Majella and the surrounding countryside.
The twin bedded room has a large terrace on the mountain side, with fountain and solarium, while the double bedded-room is looking on the surrounding garden and is warmed up by cast iron stove in the cold winters.
A rich breakfast is served in the shade library and tv set with a dvd player are at the guest disposal; besides you can connect to internet for short time thanks to the host computer.
Small size pets are welcome (otherwise the house cat might feel hurt!); if required a large wooden building can be used as “night suite” for four legged guests.
Great care has also been taken for the outside the house: the olive trees nourished by wind and water only, produce natural oil and surrouond the peasant house.
You can sunbathe in the solarium enjoying the scent of freshly cut grass: swing in the hammock in the shadow of the olive trees; roll on the cushious placed on the grass; play with the children in the play ground; chat in the romantic corner surrounded by roses; refresh under a bouer; think over at the base of an old well; care for the kitchen garden, being supervised the nice Geneviève; “steal” a fig, a pear, a plum from the trees full of fruit enjoying its taste; stroll in the countryside discovering its misteries and surprises. If you wish, you can go botanic excursions in the surrounding area, picking up wild fruit and aromatic herbs.

Die Inneneinrichtung wurde im Jahre 2006 geschmackvoll erneuert, bei dessen Renovierung besonderer Wert auf die Beibehaltung der ursprünglichen Struktur und Materialien gelegt wurde: Decken mit Eisengewölben, sichtbare Holzbalken, Fussböden aus handgemachten Terracotta-Fliesen, Treppen aus weissen Majella-Steinen und sogar einige restaurierte Teile des Mobiliars. Charakteristische Inneneinrichtung, um das alte Bauernhaus erneut zum Leben zu erwecken und seine Glanzzeit aus der Vergangenheit zurückkehren zu lassen, so wie es einst mit grossen kinderreichen Familien in dieser Gegend war, deren Spielfreude und Lebendigkeit man überall hörte.
Wir bieten Friede und Stille der Natur, ohne auf modernen Komfort verzichten zu müssen: grosse Zimmer mit Bad/Dusche und WC mit Blick auf die Majella-Berge und die umliegende Landschaft. Das Zweibettzimmer hat eine grosse Terrasse mit Blick auf die Berge, den Brunnen und die Sonnenbadzone, während das Doppelzimmer auch auf den umliegenden Garten blickt und mit einem warmen Gusseisenofen für die kälteren Wintertage ausgestattet ist.
Das üppige Frühstück wird gewöhnlich im grossen Schatten eines jahrhundertealten Maulbeerbaumes oder aber im Winter vor einem warmen alten Kamin serviert.
Im Aufenthaltsraum befinden sich für unsere Feriengäste eine kleine Bibliothek, ein Fernseher mit DVD–Player und der PC der Eigentümer mit Internet-Anschluss für kurze Verbindungen. Tiere kleinerer Grösse dürfen generell mitgeführt werden (zu Ihrer Information: unter den Besitzern des Bed & Breakfast gehört auch eine Katze, die sich eventuell beleidigt fühlen könnte). Falls notwendig gibt es eine kleine hölzerne Unterkunftsmöglichkeit – unsere „Nacht-Suite“ – für die Feriengast-Vierbeiner.
Wie das Haus ist auch der Garten ist bis in kleinste Detaille gepflegt: Silbrig-grüne Olivenbäume, die nur von Wasser und Wind genährt werden und natürliches Olivenöl produzieren, umgeben ringsherum das Bauernhaus.
An diesem Ort kann man verschiedenen Freizeitgestaltungsmöglichkeiten nachgehen: sich sonnen umgeben vom Duft von frisch gemähtem Rasen; auf der Hängematte unter den Olivenbäumen liegen; auf Sitzkissen auf der Wiese verweilen; mit den Kindern auf der dafür vorgesehenen Spielfläche spielen; sich in einer romantischen Ecke umgeben von Rosen unterhalten; sich im Freien unter den Weinreben aufhalten; meditierend am alten Brunnen verweilen; sich um kleinere Gartenarbeiten kümmern, die von der sympathischen Vogelscheuche Genevieve bewacht werden; Feigen, Birnen oder Pflaumen von den Obstbäumen „klauen“ und geniessen und durch die Landschaft spazieren gehen, um Neues und Aussergewöhnliches zu entdecken.
Auf Wunsch kann man an kleinen, botanischen Exkursionen in der näheren Umgebung teilnehmen, Wildobst und verschiedene Gewürze pflücken.

Elle n’est loin que 10 km du Parc de la Majella, 20 km de la mer, 240 km de Rome, 40 km de Pescara et de son aéroport, 100 km de Sulmona, 32 km de Chieti, 225 km de Bari, 203 km de Ancona, 408 km de Boulogne, 211 km de Naples.
La chaumière a trois chambres : une chambre à un lit, une à deux lits, une à grand lit : toutes les trois ont leur salle de bains avec douche ou baignoire. Pour un lit supplémentaire on demande une réduction du 25% par personne.
Le prix indiqué comprend un très riche petit déjeuner qui peut être adapté aux besoins du client.
Les enfants à moins de 6 ans ont droit à une réduction du 50%.
La restructuration de l’intérieur, qui remonte au 2006, a gardé la structure e les matériaux d’origine : les plafonds à voûte en fer, les poutres en bois bien visibles, les planchers en briques cuits à la main, les escaliers en pierre blanches de la Majella ; on a restauré même une partie des ameublements pour « faire revivre » l’ancienne chaumière et la raruener aux gloires du passé, alors que toute la contrée était habitée et animée par des familles nombreuses et qu’elle retentissait des jeux des enfants.
L’endroit offre la tranquillité et la paix de la nature, sans pourtant renoncer aux conforts d’aujourd’hui ; toutes les chambres sont grandes, confortables et offrent une vue merveilleuse sur la Majella et la campagne environnante. La chambre à deux lits a une vaste terrasse avec une petite fontaine et un solarium face à la montagne ; la chambre à grand lit, donnant aussi sur le jardin, a une chaude poêle en fonte pour les hivers froids.
Le petit déjeuner, bien abondant, est servi à l’ombre d’un mûrier séculaire à la chevelure bien touffue ou, en hiver, à la tiédeur de l’ancienne cheminée.
Dans le séjour il y a une petite bibliothèque dont nos hôtes peuvent se servir, aussi qu’un TV avec lecteur dvd ; il est possible de se connaicter au réseau internet, pour un temps reduit, par le computer des propriétaires.
On n’accepte les animaux que de petite taille (les propriétaires du b e b ont une chatte : elle pourrait se froisser!) et, si on le désire, on peut mettre à la disposition des clients une grande dépendance en bois comme « suite nocturne » pour les hôtes à quatre pattes.
L’extérieur, tel que toute la maison d’ailleurs, a été soignée dans les moindres détails : les olivier, nourris rien que de vent et d’eau, produisent une huile naturelle : ils entourent et enveloppent la chaumière.
Dans le solarium il est possible de prendre un bain de soleil au parfum de l’herbe qu’on coupe, se balancer sur un hamac à l’ombre des oliviers, se rouler sur les coussins jetés sur l’herbe, jouer avec ses enfants dans l’endroit destiné aux jeux, bavarder assis au coin « romantique » entouré de roses, être au frais sous la hutte de raisin, méditer aux pieds de l’ancien puits, s’occuper du jardin potager surveillé par la sympathique Geneviève, « voler » aux arbres chargés de fruits une figue, une poire ou une prune pour en goûter la saveur, se promener dans la campagne à la découverte de ses mystères et de ses surprises.
Pour celui qui le désire il est possible de faire de brefs excursions botaniques dans les environs, cueillir des fruits sauvages et des herbes aromatiques.
