L’abitazione, che offre per i nostri ospiti 4 camere doppie ed 1 tripla tutte con bagno, è situata in prossimità della strada provinciale maremonti Siracusa-Palazzolo. Le camere hanno uno stile sobrio e al contempo elegante come si può vedere dalle foto annesse.
Il casale è ubicato su un poggio da cui si gode un ampio panorama della Val D’Anapo, nonchè un ampia veduta del porto grande e della città di Siracusa. Sullo sfondo l’Etna si staglia con il suo camino spesso fumante. La costruzione è costituita da un antico baglio ristrutturato nel rispetto dello stile del posto utilizzando materiali naturali quali il cotto e la pietra locale.
Due portali ad archi in pietra da taglio recanti incise le date di costruzione del 1857 e del 1892 testimoniano la storia del casale. I muri antichi tradizionali in pietra diffusa raggiungono spessori fino a sessanta centimetri garantendo risultati di una buona coibentazione nel rispetto di sapienti antichi criteri costruttivi solidi ed ecologici, esaltati esteticamente da una copertura in coppi siciliani e struttura con travi in legno. Il casale è circondato inoltre da un ampio giardino delimitato da vecchi muri a secco con ulivi anche secolari e vegetazione tipica della macchia mediterranea.Dal casale si possono facilmente raggiungere in circa 20 minuti sia lo splendido mare della baia di Fontane Bianche che siti archeologici in Siracusa, Palazzolo e Noto. I padroni di casa parlano correntemente Inglese e Francese.

The family house, which offers you 4 double rooms and 1 triple room, everyone with bathroom, is along with the “MARE-MONTI” route from Syracuse to Palazzolo Acreide at 321 mt on the sea level. The rooms propose an easy and elegant style as you can see from the pictures. The house is placed on a hill from where you can see the Val d’Anapo, the Syracuse harbour and the superb view of the Etna Volcano with his top smoking time to time. The building is constituted by an ancient country house restructured in the respect of the local style, using natural materials as the “cotto” and the local stone. Two well saved arches, manufactured in old stones, respectively date 1857 and 1892, witnessing their age and construction history. Some ancient walls in stone, 50-60 cm thick, and the roof cover with sicilian “coppi” have been saved in respect of both history and ecologist criteria privileging the building. The house is surrounded by a garden with Mediterranean vegetation limited by typical stone walls.
From our B&B you can reach easily within 20 minutes the beautiful sea of Fontane Bianche, the archaeological sites of Syracuse and Ortigia, or the near Palazzolo and Noto, towns famous for their “baroque” old buildings.
The owners can speak fluently English and French.

L’habitation qui offre aux clients 4 chambres doubles à grand lit et une à trois lits, toutes avec salle de bain complète, est placée près de la route provinciale « MARE-MONTI » qui va de Syracuse jusqu’à Palazzolo Acréide, à 321 mt sur le niveau de la mer. Les chambres ont un style mesuré et en même temps élégant, comme vous pouvez remarquer des photos.
Le bâtiment est édifié sur une colline d’où on jouit un vaste panorama du Val d’Anapo et du port naturel de Syracuse. Sur le fond votre regard peut rejoindre l’Etna, avec sa cheminée souvent active. La construction est constituée par une ancienne ferme restructurée dans le respect du style locale, en utilisant des matériaux naturels et la pierre du lieu. Deux arcs anciens en pierre portent les dates du 1857 et du 1892 et témoignent de l’histoire du lieu. Les murs traditionnels en pierre sont épais près de 60 cm. et ils garantissent une très bonne cohibentation dans le respect des critères écologistes, qui sont exaltés esthétiquement par une couverture en tuiles siciliennes et une structure du toit en bois. Le bâtiment est entouré par un vaste jardin délimité par des murs en pierre traditionnels, avec des oliviers vieux de plus de cent ans et végétation typique de la mer Méditerranée.
De notre B & B vous pouvez rejoindre facilement en 20 minutes environ soit la mer splendide de Fontane Bianche, soit les sites archéologiques de Syracuse et Ortigia. Palazzolo, Noto avec son baroque. Les propriétaires parlent couramment Anglais et Français.
